What is BYOK and how does it save money?
BYOK means Bring Your Own Key. You connect your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key to Supdesk. This means you pay those providers directly at their rates—no markup from us. Most support platforms charge 2-5x the actual AI cost.
What counts as a conversation?
A conversation is a complete support interaction from start to finish. If a customer asks multiple questions in one chat session, that's one conversation. Conversations that escalate to humans count toward your limit.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. If you upgrade, you'll be charged the prorated difference. If you downgrade, you'll receive credit toward future months.
What happens if I hit my conversation limit?
We'll notify you when you're approaching your limit. If you exceed it, the AI will continue working but new conversations will queue for human response until your next billing cycle or you upgrade.
Is there a free trial for paid plans?
Yes! Pro and Growth plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card required to start. You can test all features before committing.
